Remember that Akhmedijihad came out of the Iranian student movement of the 70’s, one that helped topple the Shah’s regime. he should know darn well what young people can accomplish if they put their energies behind it.

And the USA has to remember in dealing with the concept of “regime change” in Iran that every attempt to exert influence from outside is used to bolster the position of the established powers, as they can present themselves as protecting Iran from outside forces “threatening” Iran.
