I want to say Reagan’s political experience prior to being the Republican nominee for Governor was limited to speaking on behalf of Goldwater and SAG President. I mean whatever. People without government experience run for office all the time but I agree it will be amusing to see the cognitive dissonce directed at Ashley Judd from people who worship Reagan.

Our town got gerrymandered out of our previous congressional district last year. It was literally GOP for a hundred years until 2008, when we voted in a Democrat. In the next election, the GOP ran an ex-Philadelphia Eagle lineman with zero political experience. None.

Naturally, in 2010, he won easily.

So when I see people like sattv4u just dismiss someone like Ashley Judd without bothering to look up her experience, I just shake my head. Because in all likelihood, they’re conservatives/Republicans who conveniently forget St. Ronnie’s lack of experience when he first entered politics.
