Both of these photographs / stills are noticeably underexposed, by about 2/3 to 1 stop. That’s also not the photo that accompanies the WaPo article, meaning the Twitter intern picked it out separately and deliberately. I’m not sure what C-SPAN’s excuse it except for basic incompetence.

This might seem like a nitpick, but when you underexpose a black President it’s like a dog whistle to the wingnuts.
