My opinion:

Wilson drove up on Brown, maybe tried to grab him. Brown broke free and ran. Wilson freaked, pulled his gun and accidentally popped off the round in the vehicle. Now he’s pissed and hits himself in the face getting out of the vehicle and fires at Brown. Brown turns and tries to give up and Wilson finishes him off.

My take until I hear and see any better evidence.

From the transcript of Brown’s friend, Wilson drove past Brown, stopped, then backed up fast almost hitting Brown. Wilson then said “Get out of the fucking street” to Brown. At this time both Brown and his friend were by the police car. When Wilson tried to open his door, he hit both of them and the door bounced closed. Wilson then grabbed Browns shirt/arm and tried to pull him back to the door. Brown resisted, and at some point Wilson said he was going to shoot Brown, pulled his weapon and discharged it through the door.

Brown was hit and started moving away from the car. Wilson fired more shots at Brown, hitting him a number of times. At some point Brown turned around with his hands raised and was shot again, started collapsing to the ground all while Wilson continued to fire his weapon.
