Solar power plants require electricians. They require technicians at factories to assemble and build. They need people on the site to install.

Wind power facilities need electricians and mechanical engineers and those who erect/install/maintain them on site, as well as technicians who build them in the factories.

The numbers of those working in wind/solar/renewables far exceeds the numbers working in coal mines for instance by a huge margin. That number will only continue growing.
