This type of cognitive dissonance is not a problem with Muslims, because there is no such thing as “truth” and “falsehood” in their minds, just “what promotes Islam” and “what doesn’t promote Islam.”

That’s why I find it amusing when a Muslim yoot gets nabed doing something & the father says, “But he is very religious.”
And that’s the issue, Pious Muslims tend to act out.
