Sure, you can disagree with him bringing them up. That’s not what I was talking about.

In my opinion, saying “I feel it is inappropriate to try and use references to death threats received as a way to explain poor behavior” is very different than saying “oh man, look this guy is claiming he got ‘death threats.’” The second one tries to pretend that it’s not real. That the guy is making it all up. That it’s bullshit. I don’t see how that respects the seriousness of threats any more than a politician making it a campaign plank does.

Anyway, the stomach has hopefully calmed down enough that I can finish grocery shopping round two before the eyedoctor. Off again for a few.
