I was amazed to see my girlfriend stir-fry tofu with minced pork, which was basically just there in small amounts to add flavor to the tofu

Never really cared much for tofu. Something about the consistency that just turns me off.
That said, it does readily pick up the flavoring of whatever it’s cooked with.
