3. Because the guy ultimately was fired, and replaced by someone who did do their job, that’s how/why Paul Manafort’s misdeeds (and the evidence proving it) came to light. THIS IS THE PART THAT TRUMP IS REALLY PISSED OFF ABOUT.

Continued: he’s trying to pressure Ukraine to put forth a story that implicates the Obama administration in formenting/promoting the instigation of the Russia investigation. A story he’s been hoping to promote since Day 1.
