Huh. That further supports 3 woods contentions out here yesterday or the day before that Obama was fed up with his Treasury secretary - who’s been on the job for 7 weeks and prepared for it months in advance. According to 3 wood (who really knows about this shit) Obama gave him one week to come out with a comprehensive plan for the economy or he’d be out of work.
BTW, Geithner has had two choices for Deputy Secretary of the Treasury turned away because of some “personal problems” - I reckon he figures one tax cheat at Treasury is enough - and his third choice turned it down almost immediately because she just didn’t want that job.
The Brits (and others) are right to bitch about there being literally NO ONE THERE to take their calls or respond to their messages.
