well, my question is: why is carson the one who consistently does better than the other goopers and beats democrats in the current polling??

I don’t know if this fits, but I have seen many elder White women in a lot of the media coverage of Carson. I think it was yesterday and he was signing books and the line was full of elder White women.

Many of the questions asked of Carson backers are to…yes, elder White women.

Maybe it has something to do with his being a good surgeon, what they see as his gentle nature, soft spoken (tender?)…etc.

That could be driving the cross-over numbers at this time.
