He didn’t make any money off the book until later when people bought out of fear and used it as a coffee table book.

Really? Kershaw’s Hitler biography says it was a huge seller and translated at that time into sixteen languages. I can see why people would be bored with it though. I had to read excerpts from it for German history. I also find Marx a bore to read.
