That was me, too. But I didn’t play seasoned sailor when I got back. It was that (showing off for his bride who didn’t join us) that cracked me up.
I was like…men, man. And laughed. He was a nice guy, don’t get me wrong. It was just funny.
I could not have faked having a good time. All I wanted to do was stop feeling like that.
But honestly, once we were back in the Bay, I actually enjoyed the boat and the motion and the crisp, cool air.
Two years ago, our “company picnic” was a Bay Cruise, and I had not one moment of trouble. But it wasn’t on the ocean.
