The script falls back on the old trope of the lovers (Cersei and Jamie) dying together in each other’s arms. I watched it and felt, you two deserve each other and the hundreds of tons of brick and stone falling on top of you. But, it was not an emotionally satisfying end to Cersei. Plus, Sandor convincing Arya at the very last minute not to kill Cersei in vengeance was also pretty lame. She’s spent several seasons imagining the killing of Cersei, then all of a sudden she changes her mind and says, “Hey, thanks, Sandor! Now, you have fun trying to kill your brother. Bye!”
