I’m not. This is really getting annoying. It’s one thing to teach your kids about the Bible and raise them in the Christian faith; it’s another thing entirely to delude them into thinking that established science is a load of crap. What bothers me the most about these people is the way they twist the words of scripture to fit their specific agenda. They take an almighty God, jam Him into their created construct and then try to ram it down everyone’s throat. I really don’t care what they believe, it’s a free country and they are free to worship a potted plant if they so desire. I am deeply offended that they continue to use my faith and my God to push a flawed approach to a marvelous universe and then call me a backslidden Christian because I refuse to constrain God with human understanding. I don’t have all the answers but they don’t either and to suggest that they do is insulting to me and thousands of Christians.

insulting to us? sure, but how about the insult to God? look at the messed-up planet they think we had going on around here about 800-ish years ago! that was divine creation? sheesh
