Am I correct that it translates as ‘Adam’ or ‘First Man’?

adam is ‘human’

dam is ‘blood’

adom is ‘red’

adamah is ‘earth’

You get the idea.

The word then, of course, gets used to name the first human.

Kabbalists use the term ‘Adam Kadmon’ to refer to either Adam himself, or some sort of primal human, I don’t know what it actually means.
