If the mayor is smart, the first thing they and the new city attorney does is see if the DoJ can put their forensics folks (or, barring DoJ involvement, a forensics firm) on those wiped PCs to see if there’s actionable evidence of misconduct.

I’ll bet you a shiny new quarter that they did a very poor job of wiping those hard drives.
