I am starting to think Rand might have some potential. He’s not as outwardly crazy as his pop and his version of pseudo-libertariansim is just repackaged generic conservatism. I think his biggest asset is his willingness to speak up of select issues (like immigration, legalizing pot, or whatever) that go against the grain of the GOP dogma.Very few others are willing to do that and I think for him it has the potential to create the impression that he has actual leadership qualities. Something the GOP needs desperately is some sort of leadership.
