I’m guessing the cops have informed them that it would be bad for their health.

It must be awful to have to hide away from public view like that, although it beats being…you know…shot to death.

I hope the cops guarding him check in at the beginning of each shift by saying ‘Here for duty, you stupid fucking moron’.
