Some people say Tequila makes them crazy, but for me it is gin. But I’ve never had a higher class gin than Gordon or Tanq. What gin was it?

Jensen’s, but it’s impossible to find the US. Mostly because he asked for the good stuff that really isn’t imported. Small batch done in London, on the floral side.

In terms of good stuff - there is a noticable difference between 10 and Tanq, but not enough that I would think it makes a difference to preference. I’m a big gin and tonic fan, and the tonic water is going to make a huge difference. Whole Foods has a good tonic water that’s like $4 for a 6-pack of cans (enough for 12 drinks for me). It’s just their 365 brand. Plays really nicely with a wide variety of gins.

If it’s a place that has a good selection, you might see the Botanist. I’d recommend that. Hendrick’s isn’t bad but not on my top five list. (Most of my top five list is probably hard to find most places. I keep a good selection at home.) Trying to think of what else I see reasonably often. St. George does some stuff, but that might be more common out here because CA. I have some stuff from Smuggler’s Notch out your way but haven’t tried it yet.
