McCain was a lousy Senator who became a lousy candidate, ran a lousy campaign, and did everything humanly possible to make sure that Obama won.

wrong target… he WAS elected in the primaries after all.
and a lot of folks on the Repub side were warning about it for months on end…

but still - the GOP membership elected the guy.
