Yeah, if there’s a “forgotten war” there’s that one. A lot of people don’t know that the Japanese were in Manchuria as early as 1931 well before Hitler even got to power and before the Great Purges by Stalin too.

I’ve been told that WWII actually started with the invasion of Manchuria in 1931. Hubby went to Pearl Harbor during our trip. I couldn’t bear it, with the Arizona being there and all. It revived a lot of stuff for him and we’ve been discussing the War ever since.
