You said this guy was not a terrorist, and I was curious as to the evidentiary basis for your conclusion.

Again: You’re not paying attention to what I’m saying. I’m saying that this guy is not a terrorist in that he is not going to go somewhere with a gun and shoot people— he will interview those who do and praise them. He is not the guy who was restraining the hostages— he will take pictures of it and crop them dishonestly. He is something more insidious than a terrorist, and more dangerous: Someone co-opting the Western idea of the unbiased journalist, in order to promote terrorism.

If you want to say, “Well, I consider that a terrorist too”, that’s fine with me. I don’t really care. I’m making the point that this guy is more dangerous then yet another dude with an AK. This is the sort of person who tries— and succeeds— in manipulating the Western media.
