This was the discussion two threads up, O’Reilly’s outrage at acalling him a “Christian”, even though he mentions his religious beliefs quite clearly in his manifesto.

But do I think that “fundamentalist” does not describe it correctly.

O’Reilly is, in my estimation, a “true Christian”, and his outrage is genuine. How dare this heartless killer call himself Christian, O’Reilly’s thinking. So he says so.

Look at the gulf between O’Reilly’s take on ABB, and Glenn Beck’s. Beck comes across as a fellow traveler trying to be a bit coy, rather than as truly shocked and appalled.
