That’s Dorothy Parker’s take, I rather like Dumas.

I also find the whole back story of his family quite fascinating. Pere’s father, and Fils’ grandfather was ‘Napoleon’s black general’, also known as ‘the black devil’. French-Haitian. Generally kick-ass.
