I grew up in a foreign service family. NSA/CIA/OGA types say all kinds of interesting shit around the dinner table. Not shocking news.

I grew up during the Cold War. Part of being alive during that time meant thinking about being vaporized by nuclear bombs, poison gassed, spies, secrets, classified documents, CIA, NSA, SAC, TAC, AIRNAV, you name it. The NSA and CIA was going to spy on people whether we knew about it or not.
