I should also like to point out to Bryan Fischer and the other RWNJ who quote this a lot that the context for that passage (in 2 Thessalonians) is a group of believers basically sitting around waiting for the End Times. You know, not people working at low pay with mouths to feed or people trying to find work who need temporary assistance.

Isn’t Thessalonians one of Paul’s letters? IOW it’s not the teaching of Jesus. I’m not all that familiar with the NT.
