[Spielberg’s] lead actor comes and says “I’m sick as a dog, why don’t I just shoot the guy?” and instead of screaming about his “vision” or getting uptight that an actor wants to change the script right in the middle of filming, he just shrugs and says “Works for me.”

and as I recall, they even referenced that scene in the follow-up film.
