I organized my friends into a mini media enterprise. I called the police up beforehand and asked them out to get press credentials, they said organizations print their own so I made badges, brought everyone lab goggles and particulate masks for the gas, had a DAT recorder and a Canon video camera. We got interviews, used our badges to get through police lines, and generally had a great time.

Someone who knows how to organize a protest, in the post-Civil Rights/post-clinic defense era.

If anything were to happen to you, though, count on the cons here to tell you you deserve whatever the cops shove down your throat.
