Theodore Schurch was a British soldier who was captured at Tobruk in1942. He went over to the Axis and specialized in infiltrating PoW camps under assumed identities so he could inform on escape attempts, resistance contacts, smuggling and the like. SAS founder David Stirling was one of those he betrayed.
