OK, now that you’ve had your rant, I invite you to make a constructive suggestion to the problem of how to turn around failing companies. You cannot suggest something that gives government an increased role.

start with concentrating on keeping companies going instead of instantly turning them into junk. i haven’t seem the least scintia of evidence that these companies were unsaveable, or even unprofitable

can you produce some or did you merely assume it?

having read many biographies of american business leaders who were successful precisely because they hung on when things were tough, borrowed money, hung on to their “human capital” as best they could, and figured out how to turn their company around, i don’t believe for a scond that those companies needed to be trashed for parts
