Rats are a different story, those things have to die. When it comes to killing animals I’m a complete wuss. I bought glue traps one year (because bashing their brains in with regular traps seemed unnecessarily cruel) and ended up spending 30 minutes working to free a little mouse I caught so I could let it go outside. I switched to poison bait. That way they crawl away somewhere else to die and helps keep my conscious clean.//

I don’t like killing my own food but I’m glad there’s someone to shoot Flower the Cow for me.

I’m a wuss too. I think I could shoot a wild rabbit but that’s about it. I’ve thought about keeping rabbits, ducks or chickens for food but I think I’d probably just end up with a whole bunch of pets.
