Major Major was fictional, but I knew a real Sergeant Sargeant and a Sergeant Slaughter.

I had an officer in the Navy who’s last name was Seaman. He started out as an enlisted person, but went into the engineering side, so he was Fireman Seaman rather than Seaman Seaman.
