She’s certainly useful. They can show her off and say, “See, we really don’t hate Jews — we just hate rootless cosmopolitans and leftists. We even have Jews in our organization.”

Repeat for several racial, religious, and ethnic groups and the Republican party.

It works for people who don’t look too hard, and works for those who want to stick their heads in the sand.
