The White Flight is no joke, and is one of the darker pieces of the puzzle.

How can you integrate when whites refuse to live near blacks, and how can the schools keep up when mostly black districts have trouble with getting teachers and funding?

Forced busing which pissed everyone off. I don’t know, but it’s awful and no one is talking about it anymore. If forced busing doesn’t work, than we have to come up with something else.

In Florida, they offer incredibly incentives to teachers willing to work in difficult school districts or “F schools”. Huge bonuses and higher salaries. My neighbor is such a person.
