The latest volume of the latest IPCC report is getting more play down in Australia than here; still, it’s disappointing reporting:

Beyond that, though, I’m heading towards the conclusion that all these reports and the nature of the media attention given may be quite counterproductive, as far as mitigating climate change.

I wonder if a desensitization process is happening among the public - too many scare stories (and not enough real understanding) making people immune to paying attention to what is really going on.
