HOW?! How the fuck are they punishing anybody? This is stock off their shelves, or out of their warehouses, that they bought and paid for. They can do whatever the hell they want with it.

If they’ve made a business decision that the public relations value of destroying these items is greater than the cash value of returning it to the manufacturer for a refund… I’ll bet they have a solid PR department who knows what they’re doing.
