The great thing about yellow jackets is that they retain their stinger, so they don’t actually die after they sting (unlike the honey bee). So while you think the thing is too aggressive, just feel good knowing that it can sting you several times, go up to a rafter to rest for a while, then come back and sting you again later.

You’re wrong… they die because if the manage to sting me, at that point I’ll go all postal on them, no matter how many times they try to sting back, they are going to DIE.
