I’m not going to come to any conclusions about this election until the votes are counted. Right now I’m sitting in a rather liberal city but I can hop in my car and drive either to NYC or San Francisco and I will encounter nothing but right-wing conservative Americans who will vote for Romney and Ryan.

I would give obama slightly better thatn 50-50 odds right now, but I am still not convinced tht the GOP is going to keep floundering the way it has: I assume they have some things up their sleeve that they are saving for the convention or directly thereafter.

And we can count on a spike in food and gasoline prices this fall which will hurt Obama, as the responsibility for them will be laid at his door.
