You’re right. We should sit here, pray, do yoga, and chant. Nothing should be built every again, too much construction involved. The demolitions are also very loud and scary.
And the corruption! Ooooh, even though it hasn’t started yet, my time machine tells me it will be horrible.

What is needed is concentrated massive investment in nuclear, wind, solar and clean conventional energy infrastructure megaprojects - not Olympic Games for the enrichment and enjoyment of the few. And don’t take my word for it, I’m just agreeing with President Obama.
These Olympics usually turn out to be financial and security nightmares.
