We cut taxes in 2003. Began the Afghan war in 2001. Began Iraq in 2003. In 2007 the deficit had been reduced for 4 consecutive years and stood at just $180B, which happened to be the last Republican held congress.

The reduction in deficits were actually accredited to growth in government revenues.

Care to explain that, using your theory?
