I’ve been reading a Putin biography and the more I read, the more disgusted I get with the Republican Party for completely selling out the few principles they held to stand by Putin over Obama.

Not really surprising: Putin and Russia were disposed to be *friendly*, possibly financially generous, and were conveniently far away. Obama, OTOH, was a clear and present threat to their political sway in this country: given that political power (with money a close second) is all today’s GOP cares about, choosing “sides” was easy.
