Maggie’s worried that after Needi Amin is gone, she’ll have no meal ticket at the paper anymore. Her whole bit for the last four years was having an “in” on the palace intrigue circuit of the Trump admin. There’s no way she’s going to enjoy that level of “access” in a Biden/Harris admin, and her NYT badge means the hard-right assholes that stand atop the smoking remains of the GOP are going to be suspicious of her if not outright hostile.

By this time next year, she could very well find herself wandering the “Cletus Safari” circuit, hopelessly looking for some sign that her fortunes will change in 2022.
