I am a former Republican (I quit the party into Bush’s term) I am sort of centrist with some conservative leanings (I self identify as a European Christian democrat social market advocate) and as a former Republican, while I was a Republican I could not figure out what Sarah Palin’s or Joe the Plumber’s appeal was and I don’t get the appeal for this sorry excuse for a man, Joe Walsh.

Is it because thise characters voice the inner demon the right wing in America has to supress because they know they can’t say stuff like that in polite company?
