Steve Carlson was a 2014 Independence Party of America candidate seeking election to the U.S. Senate from Minnesota.[1] Carlson won the Independence nomination in the primary on August 12, 2014.[2] He was defeated by incumbent Al Franken (D) in the general election on November 4, 2014.

Carlson was previously a 2012 Independence Party of America candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of Minnesota.

Last November, he got 47,530 votes. Al Franken got 1,053,205.

So even if this guy got exactly one million more votes, he still would have lost to Franken. Not sure what he’s bitching about or wants the Great Ginger Avenger to do.
