Remember that health care repeal was only one vote away from actually happening; it failed because a dying McCain gave the finger to Trump. There remains no way to protect against continued active sabotage of the ACA by Trump because the new Republican Senate will cheer it on and will not vote for Pelosi legislation to protect the law.

I think the ACA will end up being reset and strengthened with the Democrats in the House.

Remember how with about a month to go in the elections all of the Republicans were forced to come out and say they all were for keeping the preexisting conditions allowance going and how important healthcare insurance was, etc. That was due to the polls showing the ACA is liked by a majority of Americans, including conservatives.

And many of them still lost their seats.

The ACA needs to be made a major policy of the Democrats and I think they have the mood of the country ready to support them. In my opinion, anyway.
