In the ’50s JBS types emphasised a “link” between flouride and increased likelihood of absorbing strontium-90 from (mostly commie) nuke tests.

Dunno about mostly Commie. My dad grew up in central California. He remembers sitting with his father on the roof of their house, watching the test flashes go off in the desert.

It’s a wonder I only have two eyes and one head.
