In many ways, Nixon was the anti Trump and I mean that sincerely as a compliment to Nixon who I feel like yourself loved this country and wanted it to do well in the world. Trump only cares about Trump.

Nixon going to China and his rapporoachment with Mao Zedong was a diplomatic masterstroke.

I can’t even imagine Trump successfully pulling off something like that. He tried - and fell flat on his face - with Kim Jong-un.
