I really like Harris, but I think she’s hurt herself on the trail a few times. The “twitter should ban Trump” felt like way too much of a gimmick to me; and frontrunners really shouldn’t be playing gimmicks like that.

I also thought the Twitter thing was kind of weird to campaign on but the difference between the things that are allowed to hurt Harris and the genuinely fucked up bullshit that Bernie, Biden, Warren and even Buttigieg are allowed to skate on is goddamned stark. Maybe Harris shouldn’t have kept repeating something that should have just been a one-off observation, but all she’s really saying is that Twitter should enforce its goddamned rules, which shouldn’t be controversial.
