So, if someone is depressed, it’s ok with you if they kill themselves? What if they don’t get that promotion? What if Jr.’s little league team loses the big game, is it ok for him to pull the plug? That is a very slippery slope and causually tossing that idea out like it’s not big deal is something, even for you KT. If you allow it for one group, let’s say the terminally ill, what is next? Who decides?

Not all slopes are slippery DD. For example, we could decide that certain medical conditions would warrant a person being able to choose to end their lives or entitle one to assistance even. That is a long way from societal sanctioning it for transient emotional states or convenience or the other red herrings I’ve seen swimming by in this thread.
